In this role, the DSP will be an instrumental partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and an influential catalyst for change across the organization. The DSP is a dynamic, operationally focused role that drives timely and accurate completion of multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously. This is a perfect role for management consultants that want to transition into an influential operating role at a leading SaaS company, or for current SaaS operators with cross-functional backgrounds.

This is a unique opportunity to have direct exposure to the strategies and decision-making processes of a high-performing leadership team. This role presents exceptional opportunities for career advancement, with the potential to evolve into a vital member of the ELT.

If you’re curious, possess this unique blend of analytical and people skills, and you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, then this role will provide immense personal and professional fulfillment.

Success, in Summary

  • Act Like an Owner – Drives high-impact, cross-functional projects and initiatives to completion in a timely and efficient manner without needing oversight.
  • Strategic Thought Partner – Thinks critically and proactively surfaces ideas to enhance company strategy and enterprise value.
  • Innovation and Adaptability – Demonstrates a forward-thinking mindset by embracing new tools, processes, and projects. Tackles ad hoc challenges with agility (“Swiss army knife”), adding value to evolving business needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

High-Impact Projects / Initiatives

  • Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects as directed by the CEO and ELT
  • Work with and coordinate among relevant functional executives and stakeholders to accomplish shared goals and complete initiatives on time and at (or under) budget
  • Manage and complete successful implementation of strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and/or accelerate company profitability and efficiency
  • Proactively identify risks or obstacles to value creation initiatives and partner with ELT and colleagues to quickly resolve them

Trusted Advisor

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and ELT
  • Act as Chief of Staff to the CEO (“CEO amplifier”), providing thought partnership and representing him in settings where he may not be present
  • Coordinate and support various leadership interactions (e.g., develop agendas for offsites, prepare Board Meeting materials, facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.)
  • Support ELT on M&A workstreams as necessary, including evaluating potential M&A opportunities and supporting post-merger integration activities

Vista Partnership

  • Partner closely (and directly) with Vista Equity Partners, serving as a key point of contact
  • Leverage programs and networking opportunities across the Vista ecosystem (including leveraging the network of DSP / Chief of Staff peers across 80+ companies) to adapt and apply lessons from successful peers
  • Prepare materials for (and participate in) key milestones and ongoing operations, such as Quarterly Board Meetings, Value Creating Planning, Strategy Sessions, and CEO Dashboards

  • Outstanding project management skills, with a track record of reliably scoping, managing, and executing cross-functional programs
  • Exceptional EQ and Executive presence – proven ability to establish credibility, influence colleagues, and generate alignment across departments and stakeholders to achieve intended outcomes
